This notice explains how Crewline (a product of Disbrow Productions, LLC) uses cookies and browser storage. It pairs with the Privacy Policy.
Essential session cookie
When you sign in, Crewline sets an httpOnly cookie named crewline_session. It keeps your soft-seat session authenticated so you can join shows, create lines, and use operator features without typing your password on every page. It is essential for the logged-in product — not an advertising cookie.
- Name:
crewline_session - Purpose: authenticate your account
- Type: essential / first-party
Signing out clears the session on the server side; your browser drops the cookie accordingly.
Seat cookie
Opening a guest seat link or PIN sets an httpOnly cookie named crewline_seat. It holds the seat pass, show, and seat name so that one seat stays joined until the pass expires (12 hours, 48 hours, or 7 days). It is essential for that guest seat, SameSite=Lax, and marked Secure on HTTPS. It is not an advertising cookie.
What localStorage may store
On your device, the soft panel may store preferences such as:
- Per-channel listen levels (volume) keyed by show and seat
- Master / headphones level for a show
- Other small UI preferences needed to keep the booth panel familiar between refreshes
These values stay in your browser. They are not used to sell ads. Clearing site data removes them and resets levels to defaults the next time you join.
How to clear
- Sign out from the app to end the session cookie path for your account on this browser.
- Browser controls — use your browser’s site settings for this origin to clear cookies and site data (including localStorage). After clearing, you will need to sign in again and re-set listen levels.
Third parties
Live audio is carried by LiveKit. Password and invite email, when configured, is sent by Resend. We do not load advertising trackers. Optional error reports go to Sentry only when a DSN is configured, and those reports are not audio.
