These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Disbrow Productions, LLC for use of Crewline, a cloud party-line intercom. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
The service
Crewline provides a soft-seat party line (LiveKit), show codes, seat links and PINs, operator tools, and Companion control. An engineer account starts on Free. No card is required to start. The site owner can still grant a plan. Crew accounts are free. A person invited onto a show can create a crew login without a paid plan. That login joins assigned shows only. It cannot create shows or open billing. The organization's plan stays on the engineer account. Paid plans can use Stripe Checkout when billing is turned on. Stripe collects card details; we store only the Stripe customer and subscription IDs, plan and status, never card numbers.
Accounts
- You must provide a valid email and keep your password confidential.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for seat links, PINs, and operator tokens you share.
- The person who opens an organization account must be able to form a contract.
- A seat name on a show is not an account. A guest link or PIN opens that one seat only.
Acceptable show use
Use Crewline for legitimate production and church intercom: rehearsals, services, shows, broadcast, events, and house crew. You must also follow the Acceptable Use Policy. You may not use Crewline for harassment, illegal interception, prohibited recording, attacks on infrastructure, or impersonating emergency services.
No emergency-services guarantee
Crewline is not a substitute for 911, public safety radio, or any life-safety or emergency communications system. Do not rely on it for medical, fire, police, or evacuation critical paths. Audio and connectivity can fail.
Service “as available”
We provide Crewline on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Seats, LiveKit rooms, Companion control, and bridges may be interrupted for maintenance, network issues, or upstream provider outages. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Intellectual property
Crewline software, branding, and documentation are owned by Disbrow Productions, LLC or its licensors. You retain rights to your show content and crew communications. You grant us a limited license to host and process that material solely to operate the service.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Disbrow Productions, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for show downtime, missed cues, or lost production time arising from use of Crewline. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for Crewline in the three months before the claim, or (b) USD $100 if you have not paid us. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits; in those places, limits apply only as allowed.
Termination
You may stop using Crewline and delete your account at any time from /account, or by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, for security risk, or if we discontinue the product. Provisions that by nature should survive (intellectual property, liability limits, governing law) survive termination.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. These Terms do not require arbitration.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the product changes. The effective date on this page changes when we do. If a change adds a card payment or audio recording, we will update the Terms and the Privacy Policy before relying on that practice.
